A volte l’idea nasce disegnando,
altre volte spunta a metà di una veglia notturna.
E il primo pensiero è quello di andare a cercare i vecchi strumenti,
dimenticando l’era digitale.

The prototype is the product of a close relationship
between the human and the tool.
Having a friendly machine available, touching it,
mounting an accessory such as a emme: it’s like being at the finish line.
The finished work is just a few steps away.
Arriva il momento in cui tutti gli elementi si incontrano e si fondono.
E, spesso, questo avviene sulla superficie piana
di un macchinario industriale.
Una cosa è certa: nessun elemento può fare a meno dell’altro.

And, often, it happens on the flat surface
of an industrial machine.
One thing is certain: no element can exist without the other.

Sembra finito, eppure ora parte una fase nuova:
ci saranno il rodaggio, i test,
le critiche e le modifiche.
Ma è un lavoro fatto.
It seems finished, yet now a new phase begins:
there will be the running-in, the tests,
the criticisms and the modifications.
But it is a job done.
